John and Elva Dye of Parkersburg celebrated their 60th anniversary on Oct. 11.
They were married at the home of her parents, Jacob and Natina Wilson Marty, of Belleville, W.Va., by Rev. Legg.
He is the son of the late Arthur and Marguerile Dye.

They have five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
