PARKERSBURG - Pleas and sentencings were heard Tuesday in Wood County Circuit Court.
* Kit Thomas Rozell, 34, 944 Juliana St., Parkersburg, was sentenced after his plea of guilty to a charge of grand larceny. Rozell was sentenced by Judge J.D. Beane to one to 10 years in jail with credit for 96 days served.
* Delbert Ray Hall, 29, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, entered a plea agreement to plead guilty to a felony bill of information charging him with third-offense shoplifting. He was referred to probation for a presentencing investigation and Judge Jeffrey Reed set sentencing for 9:30 a.m. Dec. 20.
* Brian Leroy Wade, 49, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, informed the court he no longer wishes to enter a plea to the charges from the May 2012 grand jury when he was indicted on charges of breaking and entering, entering without breaking, grand larceny and petit larceny. Reed granted Wade's motion for a new attorney and William Summers was appointed. A hearing to set a new trial date was set for 10 a.m. Oct. 15.
* Carla Sue Griffin, 45, 2100 Division St. Extension, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty by way of a plea agreement to a charge of petit larceny, a lesser included offense to the charge of grand larceny as charged by the May 2012 grand jury. A motion for probation or alternative sentencing was taken under advisement and his sentencing hearing was set for 9 a.m. Jan. 16, 2013 before Reed.
