Dorothy Elaine Zablocki, 89, of Parkersburg, died Sept. 28, 2012, at Marietta Care and Rehab Center.
She was born Feb. 28, 1923, to the late William and Zelma Gibson Gamble.
Dorothy was a great cook and known for her perogies. She enjoyed cross stitching, staying up to date on current events and playing with her great-grandkids.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Anessa Koskey (Lyndon) of Parkersburg; three great-grandchildren, Alethea, Zoe and Elaina Koskey; and one brother, William Gamble, and one sister, Willma Pennington, both of Alabama.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Andrew Zablocki; two sons, James and William Zablocki; one sister, Jean Holmes; and one brother, Roy Gamble.
She will be cremated in accordance with her wishes and a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
