PARKERSBURG - A bond reduction and a home confinement revocation were heard Wednesday in Wood County Circuit Court.
Amanda Brooke Starkey, 19, 1103 Juliana St., Parkersburg, was granted a motion to reduce her bond from $2,000 cash to personal recognizance along with the condition she report to the day report center for random drug screens. In July she entered plea agreement to plead guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, a lesser included offense to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and a bill of information charging her with possession of a controlled substance, greater then 15 grams.
Sentencing was set for 1 p.m. Oct. 29 before Judge Jeffrey Reed.
Mark Kelly Comuzie, 53, who is in custody, admitted to an allegation in the petition to revoke home confinement. Judge J.D. Beane returned Kelly to home confinement after he finds a suitable residence.
He was placed on home confinement after he pleaded guilty to a fraudulent schemes charge. He was sentenced to one to 10 years with credit for 52 days served to be served in home confinement.
