Susan Kay Ash 64, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away Sept. 24, 2012, at her residence.
She was born March 20, 1948, in Clarksburg, W.Va., daughter of Wavelene Carpenter Williams of Parkersburg and the late Aubra Carpenter.
In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by three sisters, Gayanne Crislip (Gary) of Williamstown, Mary Lou Miller (Bob) of West Union, and Jackie Underwood of Parkersburg; three brothers, Rich Carpenter (Ruby), Larry Carpenter (Linda), Aubra "Butch" Carpenter (Veda), all of Parkersburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Scott Ash, one brother Jessie Dean Carpenter, and her step father, Harold Sam Williams.
Susan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williamstown. She was a very giving person who loved and was loved by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Williamstown with Pastor Chad Mugrage officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the First Baptist Church located at 431 Highland Ave., Williamstown, WV 26187.
