PARKERSBURG - Two men were arrested Sunday morning at a sobriety checkpoint conducted by the Parkersburg Police Department.
Nathaniel Lee Brooks, 33, P.O. Box 29, Elizabeth, was arrested on Sept. 23 around 1:24 a.m. and charged with first-offense driving under the influence. Brooks, who allegedly tested at 0.095 on the breathalizer, was cited and released to a sober person. Officials said Brooks was later arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and released on a $500 PR bond.
Justin Allen Jones, 26, 623 West 147th St., Glenpool, Okla., was arrested on Sept. 23 around 2 a.m. and charged with aggravated DUI. Jones, who allegedly tested at 0.255 on the breathalizer, was placed in the Wood County Holding Center. Officials said Jones was later arraigned in magistrate court and released on a $1,000 bond.
