ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Glenville State watched a 17-0 halftime lead disappear here Friday night as host Lindenwood rallied for a 28-24 victory against the Pioneers.

All-American Denodus O'Bryant scored three touchdowns in the second half to help lead the Lions (3-1) to victory. Andrew Helmick's 19-yard run with 3:05 left in the game lifted the Lions to victory.

Rahmann Lee had game-highs of 27 rushes and 165 yards in the loss. Darold Hughes hit 22 of 34 passes for 215 yards for the Pioneers, who dropped to 1-3.

Colston Bayless kicked a 22-yard field goal and Derek McRae had a 1-yard TD run to give GSC a 10-0 advantage after one. Hughes hit Robert Jiles on a 36-yard scoring strike to make it 17-0 at intermission, but the only other score for the G-men came via a Lee 18-yard scoring jaunt.

Glenville State returns to action next Saturday with a 1 p.m. kickoff at West Liberty.
