Norma Jean Hall

Norma Jean Rardin Hall, 76, of Ravenswood, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 20, 2012, at the Ravenswood Care Center, where she has resided for the past three years.

She was born Dec. 19, 1935 in Ravenswood, a daughter of the late Forrest "Humpy" and Gracie May (Riggs) Rardin. She has always been very faithful and active in church work at both Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood, and Ripley Baptist Temple. She served with the bus ministry, sang in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher for second grade boys for over 40 years.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Charles Madison Hall; children, Andy J. Hall and his wife Leslie of Ashville, Ohio, Maryellen Goss and her husband, Larry of Mebane, N.C. and Chad E. Hall and his wife Heidi of Fort Mill, S.C.; sister, Ellen Rardin Waggoner and her husband, Lowe of Vienna, W.Va.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Zachary, Charles, Bryson, Brenna, Graycen, Ethan and Ellery; and great-grandchildren, Thor and Solomon.

Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ripley Baptist Temple, with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
