Marjorie M. Butcher, 85, of Washington, W.Va., passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born Oct. 12, 1926 in Aurora, Ind., a daughter to the late Albert and Mary Ellen Parsons. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three sons, David Butcher of Seattle, Wash., Larry Butcher of Parkersburg and Stanley Butcher of Washington; three daughters, Linda Botts, Donna Butcher of Seattle, Wash. and Brenda Cox of Washington, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Butcher; three brothers; and five sisters.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
