PARKERSBURG - The new Dunkin' Donuts at 601 Division St. will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
Public officials and other dignitaries will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. and the first 200 guests will receive a travel mug. Prize giveaways also will be held.
The 1,750-square-foot store, which is open every day, will employ 40 people, has seating for 24 people and will have free WIFI. The restaurant also has a drive-thru.
"We are proud to serve the hard-working people of Parkersburg with our first restaurant location," said Beth Jones, a co-owner. "We look forward to becoming a popular destination and an everyday routine for guests looking for high-quality coffee, baked goods and snacks delivered fast in a friendly environment and at an affordable price."
Other owners are her brother, Ben Jones, and their father, Matt Jones.
