Roger and Jane Miller of Marietta, will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Oct. 7.
They were married on Oct. 7, 1972, at St. John's Catholic Church. He is retired from Wood County Airport and she is retired from Peoples Bank. They are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He is the son of the late Francis and Alice Miller and she is the daughter of Regina Weinheimer and the late Lawrence Weinheimer, all of Marietta.

They have two sons, Doug (Kathy) Miller of Reedsville and David (Sarah) Miller of Columbus.
They have one grandchild, Grace Miller.
The couple's children are inviting family and friends to a celebration from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 308 Franklin St., Marietta. They request no gifts, but would love to visit with family and friends.
