Mike and Ann Kormendi celebrated their 65th anniversary on Sept. 6 with their family in Jacksonville, Fla.
They were married Sept. 6, 1947, in Waynesburg, Pa.
She is the daughter of the late Leo Bee and Viola Tedesco of Frederictown, Pa. He is the son of the late John and Elizabeth Kormendi of Mather, Pa.

They are the parents of three children, Elizabeth Knapp of Parkersburg, John Kormendi of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Michael David Kormendi of Mather, Pa.
They have one grandchild, Brian Miller of Mooresville, N.C.
