Karen Lynn Queen, 60, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away Sept. 15, 2012, following an accident.
She was born Aug. 23, 1952, in Arlington, Va., a daughter to Bill and Elinor Haufe.
She was a RN at Camden Clark Medical Center for 20 years, a member of the National Nurses Association and most of all, a grandmother that loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Johnny Queen; son, Matthew Queen of Parkersburg; daughters, Megan Queen of Mineral Wells, Kimberly Queen of Largo, Fla., and Haley Queen of Parkersburg; brother, Christopher Haufe (Lisa) of Stow, Ohio; sister, Gayle Gallupe (Gary) of Richfield, Ohio; and grandchildren, Hayden Queen, Bryson Queen and Brooklyn Queen.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Chris Wriston officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
