Pauline "Polly" E. Myers, 92, formerly of Belpre, Ohio, passed away Sept. 14, 2012, at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Luther L."Freckles" and Janet L. Brooks Harpold.
On Aug. 5, 1944, she married Charles L. Myers in Baltimore, Md., who passed away Dec. 16, 1956, of ALS. Polly was a 1937 graduate of Washington Irving High School, Clarksburg. She held several jobs in Clarksburg before retiring from Quaker State Production in Belpre in 1986 with 28 years of service as an accounting clerk.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Muscari of Belpre, Ohio, and Linda Allan of Cedar City, Utah; one son, C.R. Myers of Wooster, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Deanna) Muscari, Susanne (Jeffrey) Ebersbach, Travis (Sara), Joseph, Ben (Jill), Utahna, Alexis, Andrew, Michael (Amelia) and Hilary Allan, Pamela (Stewart) Hansen, Christy (Tim) Stitzlein, Renee (Chris) Carnes and Curtis Myers; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard Harpold of Virginia Beach, Va.; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends in the Belpre area.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Little; and a brother, Bobby Harpold.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Park, Clarksburg, W.Va.
