John E. "Fuzzy" Wilson, 72, died peacefully Sept. 9, 2012, at The Willows, surrounded by his loving friends and family.
He was born April 23, 1940 in Petroleum, W.Va. He lived in Parkersburg and worked for Wood County Schools as a bus driver until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Galina; daughters, Victoria L. Wilder and Rita M. Fry (Jeff); loving friend, Lottie Wilson; brothers and sisters, Peggy Corbitt and Gary Wilson of Parkersburg, Pat Horner (Jack) of Belpre, Ohio, Lawrence Wilson (Vicky) of Deerwalk and Woodrow T. Wilson (Becky) of Bowling Green, Ky.; four grandchildren, Amy Bowman (great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Logan) of Grove City, Ohio, Sabrina Fry and Ian and Paige Wilder, all of Parkersburg; three step-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Hugh and Anthony Fry; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence S. and Erma Linger Wilson; one sister, Janet Lajuana Wilson; and three brothers, Jack, Larry and Duane, all of Deerwalk.
John made the decision to gift his body to science. A gathering of friends and family will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Deerwalk Volunteer Fire Department.
