Sharon Ann Godbey of Los Angeles, Calif., lost her short battle with cancer on Sept. 9, 2012.
She was born in Parkersburg on May 2, 1971. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Godbey; and grandparents, Romie and Inis Godbey and Franklin Ellis. She is survived by two sisters, Kimberly Godbey of Morgantown, W.Va. and Melissa Godbey of Morgantown; one aunt, Linda Hardesty of Walkersville, W.Va.; and cousin, Lisa Brown of Parkersburg.
