Carroll L. and Edith Bibbee Dunbar will celebrate their 60th anniversary from 2-4 p.m. today at a reception given in their honor by their children at Trinity United Methodist Church's Trinity Hall. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
They were married Sept. 7, 1952, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Parkersburg by the late Rev. H.W. Blackburn.
He is the son of the late Otis and Otie Westfall Dunbar. He retired in 1982 from Union Carbide Plastics of Marietta after 27 years of service.

She was employed by American Viscose Corp., Corning Glass Works and Mountain State Steel Foundries for a combined 22 years.
They are the parents of Kenneth (Robin) Dunbar of Wheeling and Karen (Jeff) Barton.
They have seven grandchildren, Jesse (Cynthia) Barton of Vienna, Kalina (Rob) Jones of Cleveland, Amy, Marc, Eric and McKenna Dunbar of Wheeling, and Arliss Barton.
They have one great-grandchild, Christian Posey of Vienna.
