Kenneth and Mary Taylor of Mound Manor in St. Marys celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 19 with a party given by their children in Clairmont, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were married on May 5, 1962 by Rev. William D. Mock at Mt. Clare Methodist Church in Mt. Clare, W.Va.
She is the daughter of the late Paul E. and Margaret Paugh. She is a homemaker and also worked for Retina Consultants for more than seven years.

He is the son of the late Robert and Eva Taylor. He enlisted from 1961 to 1968 with the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Navy Reserves in 1987 as a chief petty officer. He retired from Union Carbide/Witco Corp. as a maintenance engineer with 30 years of service.
They are the parents of two children, Lisa (Steve) Simonton of Land O' Lakes, Fla. and Ken (Karen) Taylor of Charlotte, N.C.
They are the grandparents of Jeffrey and Danielle Simonton of Land O' Lakes, Fla., Amanda (Daniel) Davis of Northport, Fla., and Mary, Sara, Ashley and Elizabeth Taylor of Charlotte, N.C.
Also attending the celebration were lifelong friends, Sharon "Sue" and Raymond "Joe" Capoccia of Tampa, Fla.
