Diane and Ron Elliott are celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 26, 1962, at Norwood Methodist Church in Marietta by the Rev. Thomas Taylor.
She is the daughter of the late Don and June Wagner of Marietta. He is the son the late George and Lila of Beverly.
He is retired from American Electrical Power as a human resources supervisor.

She is retired as an elementary school teacher for Fort Frye Local Schools.
The couple has two children, Michael(Stacy) of Marietta, and Pamela of Poland, Ohio.
They have two grandchildren, Patrick and Andrew, both of Marietta
There will be a celebration given by their children from 2- 4 p.m. today at the Presbyterian Church in Beverly.
They request that gifts be omitted.
