Lloyd and Sandra Cowell of Vincent will celebrate their 50th anniversary.
They were married Dec. 27, 1961, at First Presbyterian Church in Parkersburg by Rev. William Ferry.
She is the daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca Spencer.

He is the son of the late George and Lois Cowell. He retired from Cowell Insurance Service after 42 years.
He and his brother, George Cowell Jr., were partners starting and operating Cowell Realty, the Northlake Development at Veto, the Oxbow Golf Course and the Oxbow Housing Development.
Both are with Cranston Real Estate.
The couple has three children, Caroline (John) Segelken of Canal Winchester, Ohio; Lloyd Cowell Jr. (Anne Shay) of Kensington, Calif.; and Christopher (Cheryl) Cowell of Cincinnati.
They have six grandchildren, Abby and Jack Segelken, Ethen and Aaron Shay-Cowell and Lucas and Dennis Cowell.
Family and friends will celebrate from 2:30-5 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, 1341 Juliana St., Parkersburg.
They request no gifts, but recollections and good wishes to include in a memory book.
