Staying busy in Pennsville

Penn Township Trustees will meet 8 p.m. Wednesday at the town hall.

Pennsville United Methodist Women will meet 7 p.m. Thursday at the fellowship room. Business meeting will be held. Fonnie Scoles will present the program, and Margaret Dougan will have Response Moment.

The annual Embree Picnic will be held Saturday at the Embree Park. Past and present township residents are imvited to the picnic and bring a cup for the day of the picnic. Games will be held in the afternoon.

Pennsville United Methodist Vacation Bible School will be held Aug. 13-17 at 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the church for ages K-6. The theme is Sky.

Gary Sealock was a Sunday afternoon caller at the home of James and Beverly Sealock.

Friday visitors at the home of Mary Yerian were her son Ronald and Judy Yerian of Lancaster and their three granchildren, Mya, Meredith and Mason.

On Tuesday Bev and Rob Sidwell went up to Kent State to check on his apartment. They returned home the same day. Then they went back up so Rob could stay for a week.

Bev's friend, Connie Couch called her and told her she has pneumonia. Please keep her in your prayers.

On Wednesday Bev and Rob Sidwell visited at the home of Mae Milhoan and brought her fresh fruit and vegetables.

On Friday night, the Sidwell's attended the song service at the Pennsville Church of Christ. There was a large attendance and the service was very good.
