During this time of crisis in our area, yes there was sharing and thank you to those workers who have worked so hard to help us. But there were also those that took advantage of the free water and ice and they did not need it and those that did need it didn't get or had to wait longer to get what they needed.
Some of these people never lost power or did for maybe a day. The people who really needed this free stuff were the people in the extreme heat without power for days and days and those workers who are braving this heat everyday since the storm, not those who had no need for the water. Why? Because they have water and have electric so they could make their own ice. But had the feeling it was free so stock up or it's free so let's go get it. Never considering the fellow man who might really needed what they got and might do without because of their actions.
I am sorry, but that is just wrong. Those that did this should be very ashamed of themselves.
