Ralph and Karen Lockhart celebrated their 50th anniversary.
They were married June 23, 1962 at the Fifth Street Church of Christ in Beverly, with Fred Albrecht officiating.
She is the daughter of the late Melvin and Kathleen Miller.

He is the son of the late Ralph Sr. and Betty Lockhart.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1981, the couple returned home to Beverly. They started their own automotive business, and then sold tractors and push mowers. She also worked at the Village Building in Beverly for 17 years as a 911 emergency dispatcher. Both serve the community by working for the Beverly-Waterford Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department.
They buy and restore old cars and are members in a car club.
The couple have three sons, Wayne (Lenora) of Lowell, Dennis (Angela) of Newark, Ohio, and Scott of Pickerington, Ohio. They have three grandsons, Michal of Columbus, Alex of Newark, Ohio, and David of Lowell.
The couple was honored with a reception held by their children and grandchildren at the Beverly-Waterford Squad/Township Building.
