BACF’s lack of communication

June 24, 2012
Parkersburg News and Sentinel

I am writing in response to Dave Sweeney's letter to the editor concerning the lack of interest from the local AAA players football players in the BACF football game. I have a son who was invited to play by receiving a packet of information in the mail, including papers inside the packet that needed returned immediately so they could immediately decide on a team. We anxiously filled out the needed information and went to put it in the return envelope, noticing the return addressed envelope had another players name on the envelope.

In other words, the packets that were sent out were stuffed incorrectly without a return address to send the information. I had Dawson's phone number and called him twice, leaving messages and even called the school, leaving a message there without any returned calls. It seemed to be a lack of communication and organization of the people in charge.

So, before you assume these young people think more of themselves than to represent their state, my son would have loved to have played in that game. My son was also invited to play in the OVAC All-Star Football Charity Classic in which he is looking forward to spending a week in Wheeling and playing in that game.
