The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tim and Carol Gaydac of Parkersburg. She is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a master's degree in education. She is employed as a teacher for Wood County Schools.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Gene Beatty and Tonya Bordas of Parkersburg. He is studying accounting at West Virginia University at Parkersburg and is employed at Red Lobster.
