The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward Forshey and Bonita Brandjes of Parkersburg.
She is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with an associate's degree in nursing.

She is employed as a registered nurse by West Virginia University at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of David and Cindy Woody of Parkersburg. He is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School and a May 2012 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
An Aug.4 wedding is planned at St. Francis Xavier Church in Parkersburg.
The couple will reside in Morgantown.
