Karl and Barbara Moreland of Walker will celebrate their 60th anniversary. They were married June 14, 1952, by the Rev. H.H. Stone.
He is the son of the late Short C. and Lulu Moreland.
He is retired from the City Street Department. He served in World War II.

They are the parents of Russell (Julia) Moreland of Parkersburg, Ronald (Karen) Moreland of Mineral Wells, Beverly (Garry) Law of Parkersburg, and the late Brenda Barr.
