Robert and Deloris Watkins of Parkersburg will celebrate their 60th anniversary on June 20.
They were married June 20, 1952, in Hagerstown, Md.
He was a U.S. Navy corpsman at Camp Lejeune, N.C., and worked at DuPont for 29 years. He is the pastor at the Sams Creek Baptist Church for 26 years and writes sermons in The Parkersburg News and Sentinel. He has taken mission trips to the Phillipines and India.

She has played the organ and piano at churches since a child and continues to do so. She was an agent for the West Virginia Insurance Co. for 30 years and a real estate agent.
They are the parents of three sons and a daughter, Timothy, Mark, Deborah and John.
They also have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Two of their sons are pastors.
