Randy and Amy Boyd of Ashland, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Marie Boyd, to Bennett Gerald Briles, son of Johnny and Joyce Briles of Parkersburg.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Ashland High School and a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in intercultural studies. She is employed by Bookmasters of Ashland, Ohio.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2011 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in pastoral ministry. He has served as the associate pastor of The Shepherd's House in Howard, Ohio, since the fall of 2011. He also works as an independent care provider.
