Taylor Carr and Greg Rose, together with their families, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michelle Carr of Belpre and Nathan and Kristina Carr of Williamstown. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Beverly Watkins, Barbara Greathouse, Donna Greathouse and the late Jerry Greathouse.
She is a 2005 graduate of Belpre High School and is working toward a bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Cincinnati.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Sheila Rose of Clarksville. He is the grandson of Jerry Rose, Phyllis Rosenberger, Sarah Neanover and the late Jacqueline Rose, Charles "Chuck" Rosenberger and Albert Neanover.
He is a 2004 graduate of Clinton Massie High School. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2009 and is working toward a master's degree in education at Xavier University.
A wedding is planned for July 6 at the Norman Chapel in Cincinnati.
