The greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau campaign to "Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown" forgot to add at the top of their list Parkersburg's history in photographs, at the Artcraft Studio. This is a hidden secret in our town. This place of interest should be moved to window on Market so that you can see the history.
There are people that live in this area that don't know about what is in this area. We need to support and encourge others to see and vist these wonderful pictures of our town.
We need also to teach in our history. History about our county. They say that tourism is looking good for our area. Then we need to add to the top of the list Artcraft Studio, 519 Market St.
If we are showing off points of interest and awareness of our town, then we need to show and tell of this hidden treasure in our town. Did you know that Amelia Earhart was here? Did you know that the Wright Brothers were here and wrecked their plane in the City Park.
Maybe the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau will take time and visit Paul Borrelli's Artcraft Studio.
