Memorial Day Services will be held May 27 at 1:30 p.m. Meet at Pennsville United Methodist Church and go to the cemetery and return for the program at the church. There will be a speaker. Veterans are helping with the Vietnam Wall being in Morgan County is the reason the services are being held a day earlier just for this year.

Mary Yerian of Glouster talked to Gene (Grimes) Hill of Fort recently and Gene is feeling better and getting along fine. The weather there has been nice and warm.
Mae Milhoan received word that her cousins, Eleanor and Eloise Ball of Glouster are feeling better and getting along fine. Their mother, Mary Smith, and Mae's mother, Nora Mason, were cousins and lifetime friends.
On Thursday night a birthday party was held for Lou Bowman of near Tridelphia. Guests were Harmon and Carolyn Thomas of Wolf Creek, Bev Sidwell of Jotown Hill and Rob Sidwell of Kent State. Refreshments were served and a nice time was held.
Mae Milhoan talked to her sister, Connie Wallace who is a patient at a nursing home in Newark and she's receiving good care and her health is improving. Please keep her in your prayers.
Beverly Sidwell received word from Brother David Heater at Parkersburg that his health is improving and feeling better. He needs your prayers.
