Skeen—Moreland

Bradford Michael Moreland and Heather Irene Skeen were united in marriage on April 3 in Charleston. Judge Kenneth Ballard officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Skeen of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William E. McConkey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin W. Skeen and Janet Skeen of Winfield.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Moreland of Parkersburg.

He is the grandson of Wanda Buckley of Parkersburg and the late Marion Buckley and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Moreland of Deerwalk.

The bride wore a floral patterned dress with a yellow jacket and matching yellow accessories.

The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a degree in elementary education. She is employed by Kanawha County Schools as a fifth-grade teacher at Cedar Grove Elementary School.

The groom is a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a degree in computer information technology and is also a graduate of Marietta College with a degree in education. He is employed by Kanawha County Schools as a math teacher at Nitro High School.

A honeymoon is planned for the summer. A wedding reception will be held for the newlyweds in Parkersburg over the summer.

The couple reside in Dunbar.
