Billy Dean and Delores Dorothy Overby Oliver of Parkersburg will celebrate their 50th anniversary.
They were married on April 20, 1962.
She was born in Pasadena, Md., to Blaine and Mattie Overby. After age 12, she grew up in Vienna.

She enjoys sewing, scrapbooking, painting, jewelry and card making, gardening and volunteering as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was born in Newell, W.Va., to Clifford and Evelyn Oliver.
He grew up in Parkersburg. He retired from Kardex. He enjoys gardening, reading and nature.
They are the parents of Janette (Roy) Fox of Cairo, Valorie (Joe) Lockhart of Parkersburg and Veronica Parsons of Washington, W.Va.
They have seven grandchildren, Joey, Bethany, Jordan, Mike, Jodie, Kyle and Karlie; and three great-grandchildren, Alex, Riley and Aiden.
An open house will be held from 2-5 p.m. April 21 at 2306 Nash St. in Parkersburg.
It is requested that gifts be omitted.
