James and Evelyn York of Belpre will celebrate their 50th anniversary April 6. They were married at Vienna Baptist Church by Rev. F.M. Tolbert and Rev. S. Ward Robinson.
He is the son of the late Randolph and Helen York of Huntington. He retired from General Electric. He teaches at Washinton County Career Center and Washinton State Community College.
She is the daughter of the late Dewey and Virginia Anderson of Vienna. She is a homemaker.
