Ashley Carol Wagner and Jeremiah Taylor Stackpole were united in marriage Oct. 29 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, in Lowell. Rev. Wayne Morris officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Sandra Wagner of Lowell. She is the granddaughter of Carol and the late Bernard Wagner of Lowell, and Rita and the late Gene Fulton of Waterford. She is a 2006 graduate of Fort Frye High School and a 2010 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor's degree in human resource management. She is employed as a human resources assistant at the Bureau of the Public Debt in Parkersburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Tamala Stackpole II of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of Billy Joe Jones of Pennsboro, Jack and Judy Pfalzgraf of Lubeck, and Robert and Patricia Stackpole of Vienna. He is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a bachelor's degree in business management with a focus in marketing and management. He is employed as a contracting specialist at the Bureau of Public Debt in Parkersburg.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, crystal beading, sequins and rhinestones. The corset back laced and flowed into a semi-cathedral train.

The gown gathered at her waist, where she pinned her paternal grandmother's silver and diamond broach, to symbolize her grandma's presence on her wedding day. The bride borrowed her veil from her friend, Rachel Bright Reeder. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia stargazer lilies, white roses and pink alstroemeria flowers.

The maid of honor was Amy Hayes, sorority sister of the bride, of Louisville, Ohio.

The matron of honor was Trisha Dennis Westbrook, friend of the bride, of St. Marys. They wore chocolate brown chiffon floor-length dresses with a sweep train. The dresses featured a fuchsia satin ribbon around the waist and a bow in the front.

The bridesmaids were Jessica Tucker, friend of the bride, of Cincinnati, Megan Strahler, friend of the bride, of Lowell, Leanne McCullough, sorority sister of the bride, of Washington, D.C., and Emilee McAfee, friend of the bride, of Fleming, Ohio. They wore fuchsia chiffon floor-length dresses with a sweep train. The dresses featured a chocolate brown satin ribbon around the waist and a bow in the front.

Co-best men were Gavin Fury, friend of the bridegroom, of Parkersburg, and Dirk Williams, friend of the bridegroom, of Parkersburg. Groomsmen were Justin McNemar, friend of the bridegroom, of Parkersburg, Andy Wagner, brother of the bride, of Lowell, Kent Crumbaker, friend of the bridegroom, of Vienna, and Zack Harper, friend of the bridegroom, of Davisville, W.Va. The bridegroom and his groomsmen all wore chocolate brown tuxedoes with fuchsia ties and vests.

Guests were registered by Miriah Martin and Courtney Stackpole, sisters of the bridegroom.

Readings were given by Eric Shea, friend of the bridegroom, of Marietta, and Jennifer Stehly, friend of the bride, of Lowell. Petitions were read by Aaron Brooker, cousin of the bride, of Waterford. Vocalists were Howard Nau, great-uncle of the bride, of Caldwell, his daughter, Michele Bates, and his granddaughter, Gabrielle Bates, of Sarahsville, Ohio. The organist was Evan Schaad of Lowell.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the social hall at the church, with dinner prepared by the church's Women's Club and the church's youth group helping to clear tables. A three-tiered white cake was served by Angela Moore and Tricia Wagner, cousins of the bride, along with two sheet cakes; one was chocolate with peanut butter filling, and the other was a white cake with raspberry filling. Twelve dozen mini cupcakes of varying flavors were also served.

After a honeymoon in the Caribbean onboard a cruise ship, the couple reside in Devola.
