Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Smith of Vienna announce the marriage of their daughter, Lauren Ann, to David L. Heeren of DeLand, Fla., the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Heeren of Deltona, Fla.
Rev. Chrissy Smith Ruehl, sister of the bride and associate pastor of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church, conducted the ceremony in DeLand.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Lawrence and Jean Davis and the late Wrene and Geraldine Smith, all of Parkersburg. She is a graduate of Parkersburg High School and received a bachelor's degree in English and studio art from Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vt., and a master's degree in creative writing from Hollins University, Roanoke, Va. She is self-employed as a writer and artist.
