Together with their parents, Virginia Ruth "Ginger" Marcussen of Vienna and Nicholas Wayne Archer of Mineral Wells announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karl and Julie Marcussen of South Bend, Ind. She is a 2003 graduate of Riley High School in South Bend. She is employed by Dr. Leah Hopkins in Parkersburg as a receptionist.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Junior and Sharon Archer of Rockport. He is a 2000 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He is employed by Danser Inc. as a mechanical engineer.
