Thomas Wayde Hendrickson and Gena Marie Swearingen were united in marriage on Sept. 3 at Civitan Park in Belpre. Pastor Mike Thomas officiated the ceremony.

Thomas Wayde Hendrickson is the son of Rose and Larry Hendrickson of Marietta. He is the grandson of Luise and Jesse Davis of Coolville.

Gena Marie Swearingen is the daughter of Jenifer (Vernon) Calhoon of Warrensburg, Mo., and Walter (Penny) Swearingen of Springfield, Mo. She is the granddaughter of Della Newman of Marshall, Mo. ,and JR and Mary Swearingen of Sunrise Beach, Mo., and the late Mary Butterfield. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Juanita Dickson of Marshall, Mo.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted down the walkway of the gazebo by her father. The wedding colors were blue, green and yellow.

The bride wore a sweetheart neckline gown with blue starting at the sweetheart neckline following all the way to the back in the train with beautiful beadwork all over the dress. She wore a tiara with a single-layer veil with rhinestones and pearls embelished throughout the veil. She carried a bouquet with white roses and lilies, different types of blue flowers and yellow daffodils cascading down with pearl beads intertwined throughout the bouquet.

The groom wore a blue vest with white tuxedo pants.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Belpre Shriners Club.

Music was provided by Frank Byers.

The three-tier seperate heart-shaped cake was made by Rosa Lee Klingenberg. Photos were done by Rob DeCamp.

After a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple reside in Coolville.
