Donna Kay (Duke) Sambuco, 69, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 29, 2012 at Barnesville Health Care Center.
She was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late James E. Duke and Ava Maidens Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Sambuco in May of 1995. She was a granddaughter of the late Frank and Kathleen Henrie Duke and the late Harold and Pauline Smith Tyron, all of Williamstown, W.Va.
She lived in Williamstown and graduated with the class of 1960 at Williamstown High School. She worked at Fenton Art Glass Gift Shop until she married Phillip Sambuco of Bellaire, Ohio. They made their home in Barnesville, Ohio.
She is survived by their son, Phillip Todd Sambuco of Barnesville; two brothers, Larry (Becky) Duke of Dallas, Texas, and Paul (Robin) Duke of Williamstown; a sister, Judi Knisley of Marietta, Ohio, and several cousins of that area.
Donna was a member of the Barnesville Congregation of Jehovah's Witness. Brother Ken Hennebert will officiate her funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut St. in Barnesville. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment following funeral at Crestview Cemetery.
