Jerry and Joan Deaton Adkins of New Martinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley M. Adkins, to Sean M. Staley, son of John Staley and Judy Wade Staley of New Martinsville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Madeline Barker Adkins and the late Gerald Adkins of New Martinsville and Janet Cowgill Deaton and the late Roger Deaton of Friendly, W.Va.
She is a 2005 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2010 graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in public relations.
