Parkersburg police have one man in custody at a residence on Broad Street.
At least four officers armed with rifles or shotguns were outside the home below the YMCA where an ambulance crew remained nearby. A number of police cars are on scene.
Broad from 32nd Street to the entrance of the YMCA was closed.
