Danielle Irvin and Adam Thomas were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 8 at the First Baptist Church of New Matamoras. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor David Michael.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Deanna Irvin of New Matamoras. She is the granddaughter of Pat and Sandy Bleakley of New Matamoras and the late Michael and Dolly Irvin of Sardis. She is also the great-granddaughter of Hazel Livingston of Sistersville. She is a 2008 graduate of Frontier High School and is attending Washington State Community College in the physical therapy assistant program. She is employed at Comfort Keepers.

The bridegroom is the son of Ferrin and Peggy Thomas of Newport. He is the grandson of Richard and Sue Harris of Newport and Don and Susie Thomas of Newport. He is the great-grandson of Jim and Betty Smith of Newport. He is a 2008 graduate of Frontier High School and a 2009 graduate of the PowerSport Institute. He is employed at Flexmag Industries.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless sweetheart neckline ball gown with sequin, rhinestone and beaded accents with a chapel-length train. She wore a two-tiered fingertip veil with a satin ribbon edge and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of yellow and orange daisies with crystal accents.

The maid of honor was Amber Flanagan of Saint Marys. She wore a light yellow, sweetheart neckline, floor-length gown and carried yellow and orange daisies with crystal accents. The bridesmaids were Alissa Kirkbride of Dart; Chelsea Binegar of Newport; Kaylee Dye, cousin of bride, of Newport; Madison Dye, cousin of bride, of Newport; and Brittany Thomas, cousin of the bridegroom, of Newport. The bridesmaids all wore light yellow, spaghetti strap, floor-length gowns and carried yellow and orange daisies.

The flower girl was Zoey Thomas, niece of the bridegroom, of Marietta.

Serving as best man was Cody Frye of Newport. The groomsmen were Richard Thomas, brother of the groom, of Marietta; Zach Thomas, brother of the groom, of Newport; Jared Irvin, brother of the bride, of New Matamoras; Shawn Mosser, uncle of the groom, of Moss Run; and Travis Wells, cousin of the bride, of Sardis.

The ring bearer was Bryce Nixon, cousin of the bride, of Fort Irwin, Calif.

BreAnne Nixon, cousin of the bride, of Fort Irwin, Calif., sang "Mama's Song" and "It's Your Love" during the ceremony. Lexy Wells and Ariel Wells, cousins of the bride, of Sardis, registered guests.

The reception was held at the New Matamoras Elementary School.

After a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in New Matamoras.
