Jack and Marilyn Wright of Mineral Wells will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 20.
They were married at the Smithburg EUB Church in Doddridge County by the Rev. Bob Moore.
He is the son of the late Claude and Sadie Wright of Center Point, W.Va. He retired from E.I. DuPont with 37 1/2 years of service.

She is the daughter of the late Harley and Thelma Moore of Smithburg, W.Va. She retired from the Bureau of Public Debt with 28 years of service.
They are the parents of four sons, Jeff (Lora) of Bridgeport, W.Va., Todd (Kim) of Parkersburg, Clint (Billie Jo) of Frederick, Md., and Chris (Vickie) of West Milford, W.Va.
They have six grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
An open house will be held from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Seventh Street United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 1801 E. 7th St., Parkersburg.
