Together with their families, Tara Nichole Collins and Jordan Leon Swiger announce their engagment.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Allen and Kelly Collins of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn and Rick Keller of Washington, Charlie and Linda Detamore of Rockport, Jennie Crist of Parkersburg and Allen Collins of Parkersburg. She is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and is attending Glenville State College where she is pursuing a degree in special education.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Russ Swiger and Sherry Smith of Clarksburg. He is the grandson of Mary Ann McDaniel of Clarksburg and the late Charles McDaniel and the late Bonard and Anna Swiger of Clarksburg. He is a 2008 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and is attending Glenville State College where he is pursuing a degree in physical education.
