Roy and Linda Jameson are celebrating their 50th anniversary. They were married Dec. 26, 1961 in Arlington, Va.
He is the son of the late Paul and Mildred Jameson of Glendale, W.Va. He retired after teaching and coaching for 32 years at Warren Local High School.
She is the daughter of the late Cecil and Inez Oliver of Point Pleasant. She is a registered nurse and retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital after 16 years.

They are active members of the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Vincent.
They are the parents of three children, Kelli (Scot) Burdette of Pataskala, Ohio, Matt (Samrawit) Jameson of Westerville, Ohio, and Kristen (fiance Massood) Jameson of Columbus. They have two grandsons, Nathan and Justin Burdette of Pataskala.
The family is holding a celebratory dinner party at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta.
