Girls

Belpre 63, Miller 51

HEMLOCK, Ohio -Allison Flowers scored 32 points here Monday night as Belpre raised its record to 5-1 with a Tri-Valley Conference win over Miller.

The Golden Eagles trailed 14-11 at the end of the first quarter, but took a 31-28 halftime lead and then pulled away in the second half.

Flowers had 10 field goals - including four treys - and was 8-of13 from the free throw line. She was Belpre's only double-digit scorer.

Tara Ruth had eight points and Brooke Kapple seven for the Golden Eagles, who entertain South Gallia on Thursday.

Miller (2-5) got 18 points from Haley Crawford and 12 from Sammy Stover.

Paden City 40,

Wood County Christian 29

PADEN CITY-Dominique Craft scored a game-high 14 points to lead host Paden City to a 40-29 victory over visiting Wood County Christian Monday night.

The Wildcats, now 1-4 on the season with a home game against Hundred at 7 p.m., also received 12 points from Amanda Heasley in the win.

Boys

St. Marys 75,

Tyler Consolidated 63

KIDWELL-Derek Renner tallied a game-high 31 points to lead visiting St. Marys to a 75-63 win over host Tyler Consolidated Monday night. K.D. Arnett chipped in with 18 points and Andrew Cosper added 10 as the Blue Devils improved to 2-0 on the season.

Tyler, which dropped to 1-5 on the season, received 22 points from Darren Heintzman while Dylan Reynolds added 11 and Evan Cline and Dylan Romine chipped in 10 apiece.
