Eugene "Gene" and Cathy Stump will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Nov. 3.
The couple were married in Charleston in 1961.
They are the parents of four children, Ellen (Jimmy) Eaton of Carolina Beach, N.C., Bill (Kathy) Stump of Evansville, Ind., Tonda (Bill) Roach of Carolina Beach, N.C., and Cherie (Larry) Lane of Richmond, Va.
