Tia Morgan Davis of Waverly and Kevin Andrew Townsend Jr. of Williamstown were united in marriage July 30 at First Baptist Church of Williamstown. Rev. Jim Mike Ward officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Tina Davis of Waverly. She is the granddaughter of Lonnie and Barb Tanner of Williamstown, and Eugene and Nancy Davis of Waverly.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Mary Townsend of Williamstown. He is the grandson of Ted and Janet Townsend of Williamstown, and Doris and the late Lowell Sims of Vienna.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length white ballgown with pearl and lace accents and a catheredral train.
She wore red peep toe heels and the groom's grandmother's pearls. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses with pearl accents.
Serving as maid of honor was Shianne Preston, best friend of bride of Boaz.
She wore a red knee-length dress and carried white and red roses with pearl accents.
Bridesmaids were Kim Davis, friend of the bride, of Paden City, W.Va.; Courtney Townsend, sister of the groom, of Williamstown; Katy Dawson, cousin of the groom, of New Martinsville; and Sara Townsend, cousin of the groom, of Pittsburgh, Penn.
They all wore red knee-length dresses and carried white roses with pearl accents.
Flower girl was Kaylyn Emigh, cousin of the bride, of Parkersburg.
Serving as best man was Kevin Board, best friend of the groom, of Williamstown.
Groomsmen were Jeff Delancey, friend of the groom, of Parkersburg; Justin Wajda, friend of the Groom, of Williamstown; Britt West, friend of the groom, of Parkersburg; and Travis Davis , brother of the bride, of Waverly.
Ushers were Timothy Davis, brother of the bride, of Williamstown; Adam and Jordan Alleman, cousins of the groom, of Fayetteville, N.C.; and Teddy Townsend, cousin of the groom, of Pittsburgh.
Ringbearers were Isaac and Josh Joy, cousins of the bride, of Williamstown.
Brian Wigal of Williamstown sang "Only God Could Love You More."
Mariah Sims of Vienna served as guest registrar.
A reception was held at the American Legion of Williamstown.
The white and red velvet cake had four layers with vanilla icing and rose and pearl accents with a fountain underneath.
After a honeymoon to Clearwater, Fla., the couple reside in Wheeling.
