Steve and Melanie Jameson of Waverly and Earlene and Dwayne Blair of Parkersburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Krista Leeann Jameson, to Corrie Joseph Calvert of St. Marys. He is the son of Mark and Teresea Webster.
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of SMHS and will pursue a degree in elementary education.
She is the granddaughter of Karen Jameson and the late Glen Jameson, the late Earlene Adkins of Parkersburg and George and Barbara Hutchison of Newport and the great-granddaughter of Lillian Turner of Newport.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2011 graduate of SMHS, and is a recruit in the Army. He is attending basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and will train for the military police. He is the grandson of Gary and Patricia Edwards.
A January wedding is planned.
